Now that I have completed 3 weeks of the training program, I’m finding that I’m not doing better at one more discipline than the other. Which is okay with me!
I have a feeling that once I’m back to being comfortable riding a bike, I will really enjoy biking again and that discipline might be my favorite.
I do have say that my endurance level has gone up and I’m really able to workout for a longer periods of time without wanting to take a break.
I’ve never given much thought to the technique of swimming, but now I sure do. I’m sure that in the coming weeks I will learn more about form for running and biking.
I’ve been wanting to get back that athletic feeling that I used to have and it took 2 months, but I’m getting it back. I like that when I walk I can really feel the thigh muscles working and getting stronger. When I feel the bicep and tricep areas of my arms, they are not just flab anymore there is really some muscle there. My flabby stomach has also gone down in size!
I have my mid-point physical assessment coming up with Junius and I’m really looking forward to seeing how much I’ve improved since my first assessment on December 26, 2012. I will post more on that next week!
