LiveFit Challenge Week 11: Amanda’s Update

The anticipation of starting the triathlon class was nerve-wracking for me.

I thought I was going to be dragging behind  and an hour and half workout just seemed so unfathomable to me.

I’m so glad I’m wrong.  I met the rest of the class and everyone seems really friendly and eager to get on track.  The coaches or mentors are really motivating, encouraging and just overall great teachers.  And the amazing  trainers  that I’ve been working with have me right on schedule to meet the needs of the class.

So why was I so nervous?  Oh, wait….. we haven’t done much running yet….that’s why, but the swimming is a great time.  I’ve learned some really great techniques. I need to build strong habits,  so that on race day I don’t forget everything I’ve learned.

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center employees have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.
