LiveFit Challenge Week 9: Amanda’s Update

We had a great group meeting and workout this weekend.

We had so much fun playing an Amazing Race like game that it almost didn’t even feel like a workout at all. It was also really great to see everyone and hear about their triumphs and challenges.  I definitely feel like our group meetings/ workouts help to keep us motivated and in touch with each other.  Hearing how others have similar issues and ways that they overcome it is encouraging.

For me, the balancing act between family and self continues to be one of my biggest challenges.

I’m really nervous to start our tri class, but I know that I’ll have the support to get through it, let’s just hope I can muster up the endurance.    Hopefully this class will make the triathlon seem a bit more feasible.

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center employees have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.
