LiveFit Challenge Week 8: Lisa’s Update

Lisa Lensmire is a patient access representative at Aurora BayCare Medical Center Rehabilitation Services.

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center employees have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.
So we started our triathlon training this week – well not really – had a couple of meetings to find out the expectations of the next couple months. First full week on my own – went ok – still worried – but going try this and push myself. Trainers want us to do the New Dublin 2 mile run on March 17th. Can’t believe that is next weekend already – am I ready? not sure – but really want to try and get a feel of where I am at. I will be honest there are days that the thought of exercising has no appeal at all – so instead of beating myself up – I take that day as a rest day – even if I just do a small walk. Really glad the weather is getting nicer out – look forward to the walk/runs and biking outside.
