LiveFit Challenge Week 7: Kim’s Update

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center employees have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.
Another week down and I’m still learning a ton. With this change of lifestyle, I am learning to have to be more and more flexible. I recently learned that my work schedule is going to be changing again, which means that I will not be able to have my last week’s personal training sessions with Natasha. I’m kind of bummed, okay, really bummed that my sessions ended this week. I know that I have it within myself to continue building the base that Natasha helped me create, but it was a lot of fun to have personal training sessions, with someone to bounce ideas off of and give me new and exciting ways to keep working out fun. Natasha, thank you for busting my butt over these past several weeks. Although I may not have always showed it, I truly and greatly appreciated you pushing me!

Just as I was getting comfortable in my routine, it is changing…but I have to remain focused. In working with the trainers, we gained a ton of information, great motivation, and excellent workout ideas…it is now up to us to continue from here. I look forward to our tri class starting, as it will be really nice to catch up with the 6-Packers and push each other! We are working toward the same goal somewhat individually at the moment, so I’m looking forward to sharing in this goal with my fellow teammates!!!!
