Hmmm what am I feeling this week? In a funk or something I guess. Or the ADD is kicking in…yeah it was all fun for a while; it’s not that I don’t want to work out, I do, I just get sick of doing the same thing. However, I do mix it up with classes, weights, bike…maybe it’s just time to get outside, or maybe I’ve been working or doing homework too much lately and haven’t gotten out to enjoy the semi-decent WI winter. Or maybe it’s a case of spring fever. Good thing I have a 5 day stretch off right around the corner.
I did get to get in the pool on Monday, and learned a ton. It’s not that I couldn’t swim, I could, but it took a lot of work. Now with my new tips and pointers, it is a lot easier. I think the most difficult thing was catching my breath, now it’s a lot of thinking while swimming. I guess its swim smarter, not necessarily harder at this point of the game. I hope I don’t think too much and forget to breathe or something.
How about a suggestion for the March 17th group workout? There’s a 5k in New Dublin (London) @ noon. I am most nervous for the running portion of the triathlon, how fun would it be to get dressed up in some Irish costumes and participate in the 5K….who knows we could win some prize $$$. Photo ops galore….think about it.
