LiveFit Challenge Week 5: Lisa’s Update

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.

Lisa Lensmire is a patient access representative at Aurora BayCare Medical Center Rehabilitation Services.

Lisa Lensmire shares her update from the fifth week of training:

“Ok, so back on track with the training we go!  I can’t believe how out of shape I really am.  It definitely feels good to get back on track.   I mean the work outs are getting better – “easier” in a sense, but not really,  if you know what I mean.

I’m trying to focus all the negativity of what is going on in my family life to better my workouts. Saturday,  the team met at the Y for spinning and water classes.  “TOUGH” is the best way for me to describe the morning.  It was so great to be with the rest of the pack, but like always Junius kicked our butts.  All I could think about was going home and taking a nap.  Of course, that is not what happened!

It just amazes me how we all get along it is like we have all been friends for years – not months. ”
