LiveFit Challenge Week 2: Amy’s Update

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.

Amy Fischer,  registered nurse at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, shares her progress through weeks 2 and 3 of triathlon training.

Amy says:

“This week is getting a little busier with the start of school (STATS and Cross-Cultural Nursing.)  I am definitely feeling a little more time-crunched.  Oh well, one day at a time! I just keep telling myself this.

This week in my workout sessions,  we did some tabata.  Big thumbs down on this workout routine, although I’m sure I got a good workout out of it. I guess I like to try to keep the workouts somewhat ‘fun’ using the term loosely.

I do enjoy the fact that I have more energy to do activities with my kids.  My daughter discovered she loves rollerblading, and wants to know when we will buy her a pair (in winter!)

I hope everyone is doing well!”
