Live Fit Challenge Week 1: Kim’s Update

Kim Colantuono is a registered nurse at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

Six Aurora BayCare Medical Center have embarked on a wellness challenge that will change their lives forever! Over the next six months, these people will be coached, trained and transformed into triathlon-level athletes through the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Live Fit program.

When I walked into the lounge to a room full of people,  and realized everyone was looking at me, I was stunned and surprised!

At first I could not understand what was going on, and then it hit me!  I was one of the chosen ones for such an incredible challenge!

I was so anxious for today, to hear the names of who was picked. I was hoping it would be me,  so that I could have the motivation to keep me going as I make this journey to a healthier life. And so now, having been picked for this amazing challenge, I am ecstatic, nervous, anxious, and blessed for being given this chance to make a difference!

I know there will be struggles, I know it will be hard, but I know it will allow me to live a healthier, longer, and happier life, surrounded by people I love.

I’m excited to meet the 6-Pack and the incredible people who will help us reach our goal! Here’s to changing for the better!!!!!
